The last time I had some really good investment ideas I was in my twenties. I used to roll in money and I thought I was the king of the world. The bank would lend me as much money as I wanted and I took advantage. My good investment ideas manifested themselves as cash in the bank but instead of being wise with the money, I spent it very quickly. I made sure that I always had the best car. I lived out of hotels and I rented houses. I now wish that I had been more miserly with my cash. I really should have bought a house and paid off the bond slowly but surely. That would have been the wise thing to do and that way I would still have money to my name. I was young and naïve and that is what happens, I suppose, when a young person with money has no guidance.
